  1. Boil rice until crumbly. Cut the apples into slices. Grate the lemon zest. Pour apples in a saucepan with a little hot water and bring to a boil. Then add rice, raisins, butter, zest, sugar, salt a little.
  2. Simmer under a lid over low heat for a maximum of 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
