Bacon and Egg Buns

This roll is perfect for a Sunday brunch or as a hearty afternoon snack!

Ingredients

  1. Cut off the top of a hamburger bun and remove some of the crumb. You can bake buns yourself or buy ready-made ones.
  2. Grate hard cheese.
  3. Cover the inside of the bun with strips of bacon so that the edges hang slightly outward.
  4. Fill in the remainder with cheese.
  5. Break a small chicken or quail egg, carefully remove the excess protein.
  6. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven under the grill until the eggs are cooked and the cheese is melted. Serve hot!
