The meat marinated in pomegranate juice and baked in the oven turns out to be very tender and juicy, it is prepared simply and quickly, it looks elegant, so this is just an exemplary dish for a festive table. However, nothing prevents us, if we wish, to pamper ourselves with it on weekdays.

  1. Boil the beef meat until tender in salted water. Cool, drain the broth, but do not pour out. Cut onions into rings, fry for 7 - 10 minutes until transparent. Pour in a little flour, fry until golden brown for three to five minutes.
  2. Wash and clean the pomegranate. Stir with onion, pour in a tablespoon of vinegar, broth, simmer for 10 minutes. Cut the finished beef into small pieces. Put half of the pomegranate sauce into the mold, add the meat on top, pour over the rest of the mixture, put the rest of the beef. Sprinkle the dish with breadcrumbs, pour over melted butter.
  3. Cover the form with food foil, simmer the dish for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove the foil, heat the baked beef with pomegranate sauce for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
