Baked Potato Recipe - Potatoes are baked in layers in an ovenproof dish. For the interlayer, cheese, onions and thyme are used.

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Peel and boil the potatoes in water for 10 minutes, until slightly soft. Throw the boiled potatoes in a colander, let the water drain, and then transfer to a paper towel to dry.
  2. Cut the potatoes into thin slices. Grease a round or square ovenproof dish with butter and lay out the potatoes in one layer to completely cover the bottom. Add salt and pepper to taste
  3. Put some onion on a layer of potatoes and sprinkle with a little cheese and thyme. Repeat layers ending with cheese.
  4. Tamp the potatoes lightly by pressing on the top. Pour sour cream over the potatoes and bake for 35-45 minutes. Remove the cooked baked potatoes from the oven, leave for 10 minutes to cool. Then cut into portions and serve the baked potatoes immediately, with green salad leaves (optional).
