For occasions when there is no time or mood to stand by the stove, baked potatoes with sausages and tomatoes under a cheese crust are an excellent option for lunch or dinner. This simple recipe for a hearty and tasty potato dish will help out both an experienced and a novice cook, because for its preparation it is enough to cut the components, mix and send to the oven. Try it!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and a clove of garlic. Cut potatoes, tomatoes and sausages into small pieces. Chop the garlic finely.
  2. Combine the prepared components in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, suneli hops (or a mixture of dried herbs), salt and ground black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish (I have a diameter of 28 cm) with vegetable oil.
  4. Put the potatoes with sausages and tomatoes in the prepared dish.
  5. Bake potatoes with sausages and tomatoes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until the potatoes are tender. Test the doneness by piercing a piece of potato with a knife or fork. If the fork comes in easily, the potatoes are soft, then you can proceed to the next stage of cooking.
  6. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Chop the green onion finely.
  7. Sprinkle the potatoes with sausages and tomatoes with grated cheese and green onions. Leave a pinch of onion to garnish the finished meal if desired.
  8. Place the potatoes with sausages, tomatoes and cheese in the oven and cook for another 10-12 minutes to melt and brown the cheese.
  9. Baked potatoes with sausages, tomatoes and cheese are ready. Sprinkle the dish with a pinch of green onions and serve.
  10. Bon Appetit!
