Bean Salad with Pepper and Celery

This hearty salad will only take a few minutes to prepare if you have pre-cooked beans. It is convenient to take it with you to work as an independent dish or serve as a side dish to fried chicken breast.

  1. Prepare the sauce in a spacious bowl: Rub the garlic and salt into a paste, add the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and olive oil. Stir until an emulsion forms.
  2. Peel the celery stalks free of coarse fibers and cuts them into thin diagonal slices. Cut the peppers into strips, and the green onions diagonally into ½ cm pieces. Separate the cilantro leaves from the twigs.
  3. Heat the beans on the stove or in the microwave until warm (this way it absorbs the sauce better), transfer to a bowl with the sauce, stir. Add celery, peppers, onions and herbs, stir again.
