Meat baked with vegetables in the oven is an invariable classic of home cooking, always in demand for lunch and on a weekday, and for a festive table. Today we will bake beef with potatoes, onions, tomatoes and cheese. During baking, both meat, previously marinated in mayonnaise, and potatoes, cut into thin slices, have time to cook. The dish turns out to be hearty, juicy thanks to the tomatoes and with the favorite taste of familiar products.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the beef pulp into thin slices as for chops - about 1 cm thick.
  2. Use a culinary hammer to beat each piece of beef so that the pieces are as thin as possible. (To prevent splashing and prepare food more accurately, the meat can be covered with cling film and then beaten.)
  3. Place the meat in a bowl, add mayonnaise, seasoning for the meat and salt if the seasoning is not salty enough.
  4. Stir the meat. Cover with cling film or a lid and marinate at room temperature while preparing the rest of the food.
  5. Turn the oven on to preheat to 190 degrees.
  6. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  7. Peel the potatoes. Wash the tubers and cut into thin slices.
  8. Rinse the tomatoes, cut out the attachment points of the stalks. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  9. Brush the bottom of the baking dish with sunflower oil. Lay the onion in the first layer.
  10. Send the potatoes to a bowl, salt and stir. Place the potatoes on the onion layer.
  11. Place the beef chops on top of the potatoes.
  12. Cover the meat with tomato slices.
  13. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 190 degrees and bake the dish for 30 minutes.
  14. Then cover the form with foil and bake the meat with vegetables at the same temperature for another 20 minutes.
  15. Grate the cheese (I have a mozzarella bar) on a coarse grater.
  16. After a while, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese and put it back in the oven.
  17. Bake the beef with vegetables and cheese at 190 degrees for another 10 minutes, until the cheese melts.
  18. Beef chops baked with potatoes, tomatoes and cheese are ready. Serve hot.
  19. Bon Appetit!
