I am sharing a proven recipe for a very tender and delicious jellied pie that just melts in your mouth. A surprisingly simple and budget option for a delicious and hearty lunch or dinner!

  1. Whisk eggs with baking soda and salt.
  2. In a separate container, mix sour cream with mayonnaise and add it to the egg mass. Whisk everything together.
  3. Sift flour into the resulting mass and knead the dough. In consistency, the dough should resemble liquid sour cream.
  4. Finely chop the onion, and mash the canned food with a fork. Mix everything well together.
  5. Peel and grate fresh potatoes.
  6. Pour most of the batter into an ovenproof dish lined with parchment paper beforehand and spread the filling evenly. First potatoes, and then saury with onions.
  7. Cover the pie with the remaining dough and place the potato jellied pie in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
