I offer a recipe for a simple and delicious biscuit pie with jam. First you need to bake a large and even biscuit, which is convenient to cut into 2 cakes, and layer with your favorite jam. A loose biscuit is soaked in jam and it turns out fragrant and tender.

  1. We prepare the necessary products. I have plum jam, but you can use any favorite jam.
  2. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  3. Sift flour, add baking powder and vanillin to it, mix.
  4. Eggs are driven into a separate deep bowl, add sugar.
  5. Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy foam with a mixer.
  6. Pour the mixture of flour with baking powder and vanilla into the airy egg mass in parts, each time carefully, but gently mixing the dry mixture into the liquid.
  7. Biscuit dough turns out similar to cream.
  8. We spread the dough in the form and level its surface. I have a mold with a diameter of 24 cm.
  9. We put the form in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake a biscuit for 30-40 minutes, until cooked. Readiness is checked with a wooden skewer.
  10. We take out the baked biscuit from the oven and leave it in the form for 5-10 minutes.
  11. Then carefully cut along the edge and remove from the mold. Place the cake on a wire rack and let cool completely.
  12. Cut the cooled biscuit lengthwise into 2 cakes with a sharp knife. Lubricate the lower cake thickly with jam.
  13. We cover the cake with jam with the top cake. Decorate with powdered sugar on top (it is convenient to do this with a strainer).
  14. Biscuit cake with jam is ready.
  15. Cut the cake into pieces and serve.
