Here is such an option for you to make a delicious cabbage without baking it in the oven

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the cabbage and remove yellowed leaves.
  2. Cut large heads of cabbage in half, leave small ones whole.
  3. Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt and pour in lemon juice (1 teaspoon). Add cabbage, bring to a boil and cook from the moment of boiling for 7 minutes.
  4. Place the cabbage in a colander and pour over with cold water.
  5. Wash the chicken fillet, dry and cut into strips or small pieces.
  6. Peel the onion and chop finely.
  7. Peel the garlic and chop finely.
  8. Wash the greens, dry and chop.
  9. Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater.
  10. In a saucepan or frying pan, heat the butter with vegetable oil, remove the foam, put the onion and fry for 3 minutes.
  11. Then add the chicken and fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for ~ 5 minutes, until tender (the chicken should be soft, but don't overcook it).
  12. Lightly sprinkle the chicken and onions with flour and stir.
  13. Add the processed cheese, and stir with a spatula until the cheese is melted.
  14. Then add as much milk, stirring at the same time, to get a smooth sauce of the desired consistency.
  15. Add herbs, chopped garlic, salt and freshly ground pepper to the sauce, to taste, and stir.
  16. Combine Brussels sprouts with sauce and warm a little.
  17. When serving, sprinkle with herbs and ground red pepper.
