In support of everyone interested in the transition to healthy baking, I am glad to place in the heading the original recipe for biscuit pie (aka cheesecake pie). By the way, about the cheesecakes. Did you know that the name of this ancient Slavic pastry probably comes from the word "vatra" - fire? According to another, more realistic version, the cheesecake has suffered a method and originated from the popular term "curd" - later becoming "cheesecake" :)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat the pre-melted soft butter with an egg. In the resulting mixture we mix oatmeal, sifted flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. We add a little cognac, vodka or aromatic strong alcohol. Knead a comfortable soft dough, wrap it in foil and leave it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, we prepare the filling: knead the cottage cheese and chopped chocolate into a homogeneous mass. Mine, peel (if necessary) and dry the berries.
  3. Preheat the oven (180-190 ° C). Roll out the cooled dough into a circle with a diameter of 25-30 cm (preferably immediately on floured food paper).
  4. Put the curd-chocolate mass in the center of the dough (stepping back from the edge of 4-7 cm), put the berries on top and form the sides of the pie, wrapping the free edge towards the center. It is advisable to grease the surface of the dough with beaten egg or milk with turmeric.
  5. Transfer the pie to a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes. Then cool at room temperature, cut into portions. A cap of whipped cream or sour cream with jam is the perfect accompaniment.
