If you decide to make a chicken curry, then first of all you should decide which version of curry you will use.

  1. Wash the chicken, dry it and cut into small pieces. Peel and chop the onion, garlic and ginger root. Defrost peas in advance at room temperature.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan, add onion and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, curry powder and cumin. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add flour, mix well. Add yogurt, tomato paste, broth and juice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
  4. Add chicken pieces and green peas to the sauce. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour in the cream and coconut milk. Cook over low heat, not letting it boil, 3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with rice.
