Chicken Puff Pastry Pie with Mashed Potatoes

Awesome delicate cake that will melt in your mouth. Especially good when served with sour cream.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cook the potatoes in salted water until tender. Pound the boiled potatoes, add butter, fresh finely chopped dill and about 50 ml of cream.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into 1–2 cm pieces, pour 150 ml of cream and add chopped green onions, salt and pepper. We leave for 20 minutes.
  3. Divide the puff pastry into 2 parts. We roll out two layers. We put one on a baking sheet, on top, stepping back from the edge a couple of centimeters, put our mashed potatoes with dill. Put the chicken fillet with green onions in cream on mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with ground paprika on top, put a few bay leaves or sprinkle with your favorite spices. We close the cake with the second layer. We pinch the edges, make several cuts on top or pierce with a fork.
  4. We put the cake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. 3-5 minutes before cooking, the browned pie should be greased with a beaten egg to get a beautiful crust.
  5. Serve with fresh sour cream. The cake will just melt in your mouth.
