Chili con carne with coffee

  1. Soak dried chili flakes in a little hot water for 2 minutes. Strain the flakes. You can drain the broth, we do not need it.
  2. Place a saucepan over high heat and heat 1 tbsp. l. olive oil. Add medium-diced beef and sauté until golden brown, 2 minutes. Remove the meat with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add the remaining olive oil to a saucepan and sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic until golden brown.
  4. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package in 450 ml of drinking water. When the rice is completely cooked and infused for 2-3 minutes, add the beans to it. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper and stir. Place on bowls with the meat in the sauce. Add finely chopped cilantro, chili and tomatoes. Serve with a lime wedge and yogurt.
