Do you like exotic? Then this vitamin bomb from Japan is for you! Look. Chuka (or wakame) seaweed is a popular ingredient in many traditional Japanese dishes. The Japanese are famous for their careful approach to the choice of food, in their daily diet only healthy and necessary products, including the Chuka seaweed. Wakame can be bought frozen or pickled, they are a self-sufficient product in themselves, you just need to pour the dressing. I like chuka salad in combination with peanut sauce, but since finding it is quite problematic, we will cook it ourselves

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Here are the essential ingredients for a chuk salad. If the algae are frozen, they must first be defrosted, but I took pickled ones. Chuka salad is essentially seaweed, sprinkled with dressing and sprinkled with sesame seeds. But first things first!
  2. Sesame seeds fry a little
  3. That's how beautiful it turned out
  4. Now add all the other ingredients to the wakama: sesame oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, water, starch, sprinkle with sesame seeds and mix everything. That's all - our chuka salad is ready! I repeat, you can eat it already in this form. But it will be even tastier in combination with peanut sauce.
  5. And for him we need: peanuts, sesame seeds, sesame oil, sugar, some mustard, water, lemon juice and soy sauce (for some reason I forgot to photograph it). If you wish, you can add vegetable oil - I added, but it turned out to be a bit greasy to my taste, next time I will do it without it
  6. Fry peanuts with sesame seeds
  7. Grind in a blender for 2-3 minutes
  8. Here's what happened
  9. Now add all the other ingredients. Wipe for a few more minutes until a homogeneous consistency
  10. I got a pretty thick sauce, I like it in this version. This is not for everybody - the taste and consistency can be varied, if you want a more liquid one - add some water, try and add the ingredients to your liking!
  11. How handsome he is!
  12. And now we put our chuka on a plate and serve with peanut sauce and lemon!
  13. We are vitaminized! Bon Appetit!
