In fact, these are the most common classic almond shortbread cookies, but they look very intriguing! Perfect for a party or a children's holiday - children eat it with great delight, with us it has become just a children's hit.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Remove the butter from the refrigerator half an hour before making the dough - it should be soft. Whisk the soft butter and sugar for 5-7 minutes until the mixture turns white and expands. Then add the egg and beat again until smooth.
  2. Sift the flour along with the baking powder and knead the dough. Depending on the size of the egg and the quality of the flour, it can take from 350 to 450 g - I advise you to add 300 g first, and then sprinkle over a spoon as you knead. It takes me 400 g.
  3. The dough should be soft and pliable. Do not knead it too much, otherwise it will start to melt and "float". Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Pour boiling water over the almonds for just 2-3 minutes, and then rinse with cold water. After that, the skin will peel off easily. For the specified amount of dough, you need a handful of almonds.
  4. Roll sausages out of the dough and flatten them slightly at one end to shape your fingers. Make notches to indicate phalanges :) Place almonds at the end of the future finger (the location of the nail can be greased with melted chocolate to make it even more ominous).
  5. Bake at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes. Make sure that your fingers are not too brown and resemble a natural skin tone - for this I bake cookies on the middle level of the oven. It is most delicious to drink with milk or, if you want an entourage, tomato juice. Enjoy your tea!
