This cookie is, of course, known to everyone. Perhaps the only drawback is that the curd dough quickly turns stale, so it's better not to bake it for future use.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Grind the softened butter with cottage cheese and, gradually adding flour, knead a smooth dough that does not stick to your hands. Place in the refrigerator for half an hour. Roll out the dough into a layer approximately 0.5 cm thick and cut out the circles with a notch or glass.
  2. Dip the dough in sugar, shape into a cookie and place on a baking sheet
  3. Pour sugar on a flat plate, roll a circle on one side in sugar. Fold in half with the sugar side inward. Do the same operation again, roll one side in sugar and fold the sugar side in half in half. The last stage is to roll in sugar, roll inward and roll again, now you can also roll on both sides. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (I have a silicone baking mat), spaced apart.
  4. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the cookies are browned.
