Regular chicken cutlets can be turned into almost a gastronomic masterpiece. The potato sticks in the middle of each cutlet will give them an original cut and make the cutlets taste more interesting. Baking pre-fried cutlets in a sauce of sour cream and melted cheese will allow you to get juicy cutlets with a pleasant creamy aroma, and potato pieces during this time will successfully reach readiness.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. I used pre-ground chicken fillet, but you can use the mince of your choice - chicken, beef, pork, mixed, or even fish.
  2. Transfer the minced meat to a bowl.
  3. Peel the onion and garlic. Chop the onion into small cubes, and finely chop the garlic with a knife (or grate on a fine grater). Send the onion and garlic to the minced meat bowl.
  4. Drive in an egg here.
  5. Add salt, black pepper and bread crumbs.
  6. Mix the minced meat thoroughly.
  7. Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes about 1 cm thick and 3-4 cm long. From two large tubers weighing 460 g, I got 200 g of even and identical cubes.
  8. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  9. Form the patties. Take some of the minced meat and form an oval flatbread.
  10. Place a potato wedge in the center of the tortilla.
  11. Fasten the edges of the minced meat so that the potato block is visible from both sides.
  12. In this way, shape all the patties. I got 13 pieces.
  13. In a skillet over high heat, heat the vegetable oil and put the cutlets in it.
  14. Fry the chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  15. Transfer the fried patties stuffed with potatoes to a baking dish.
  16. Now prepare the sauce.
  17. Transfer the sour cream to a bowl. Grate the melted cheese on a fine grater and add to the sour cream. Add a couple of pinches of salt.
  18. Pour in hot boiled water (250 ml) and stir.
  19. Pour the sauce over the cutlets.
  20. Bake the patties in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes at first.
  21. Then gently turn the patties over to the other side and place them in the oven again for about 20 minutes, until the potato filling is done.
  22. Cutlets with potato filling baked in sour cream cheese sauce are ready. Serve hot, with any side dish of your choice.
  23. Bon Appetit!
