A delicious dish - dumplings with potatoes and fried chicken liver with onions, stewed in a creamy sauce. Very satisfying and aromatic.

  1. Knead an elastic dough from flour, water, milk, eggs and salt.
  2. Prepare mashed potatoes for the filling in advance. Boil potatoes and mash them with butter and milk.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut out circles. Put the filling in the middle of each circle and cover the dumplings.
  4. Boil the dumplings in a large amount of salted boiling water - 5-7 minutes after surfacing. Throw the dumplings in a colander.
  5. Cut the onion into strips and fry in oil until golden brown.
  6. Place the onion on a plate and leave the oil in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Fry the chicken liver in the remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. You can take portion pots or one large pot. Layer: dumplings, fried onions and liver. The last top layer should be dumplings.
  9. Prepare the pouring sauce. Fry the flour in butter, dilute it so that there are no lumps with one glass of water in which the dumplings were cooked, then add cream, salt to taste, pepper and herbs.
  10. Pour the sauce over the liver with dumplings in a pot, cover and put the dumplings with potatoes and liver in pots for 20-25 minutes (depending on the size of the pots) in the oven at 180 degrees.
  11. Ready-made dumplings with potatoes and liver can be sprinkled with chopped herbs. Serve tasty dumplings with potatoes and liver with pickled mushrooms.
