Charlotte is not apples drenched in dough at all. Charlottes are a simple dessert made from bread soaked in butter or egg mixture, baked with raisins, fruit, or any other filling. Still, the French know a lot about cooking. It's very, very tasty! The bread is soaked in apple juice from the inside and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel 3 large apples, core and cut into medium cubes.
  2. Melt 40 g of butter in a frying pan. Add chopped apples. Cover, let it simmer for 3-5 minutes. Pour in sugar, put honey. Mix. Leave the apples uncovered to caramelize. This will take about 5 minutes. Add vanillin at the end. Mix.
  3. Dilute 2 tbsp in 120 ml of cream. (no slide) starch.
  4. Pour the cream and starch mixture into the caramelized apples.
  5. Stir for about 1 minute, without removing from heat, until the apple-cream filling thickens.

Line a baking dish with baking paper or butter. Dip the loaf slices in a mixture of milk (80 ml) and melted butter (40 g), place them on the bottom of the mold, cover the sides.

  8. Cover with slices of bread dipped in a butter mixture.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown on top.
  10. Enjoy your meal!
