Fried boiled eggs with spices may seem strange to someone, they say, why should this in itself be a wonderful product to cook, and then also fry. Explaining! You can also use vegetable oil, but it is ghee that adds pleasant creamy milky notes to the dish. Fried boiled eggs ideally complement not only boiled rice, but also pasta, bulgur, quinoa or potatoes. And don't forget to sprinkle with finely chopped herbs before serving!

  1. Place the eggs in a bowl and cover with cold water. Put on fire and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. Drain the water, cool the eggs under running water and clean.
  2. Peel and crush the cloves of garlic with the coarse side of a knife. Chop. Heat the ghee in a frying pan, add the garlic and all the spices. Cook over medium heat for 10 seconds.
  3. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Put the yolk down in a skillet with scented butter and fry for 2.5 minutes. Then turn over with a spatula. Cook for another 1.5-2 minutes.
  4. Remove fried boiled eggs with spices from heat and season with salt to taste. They can be served on the table, for example, with boiled rice, supplemented with fresh vegetables to taste.
