The recipe for cooking Guryev porridge. This porridge is a traditional dish of old Russian cuisine.

  1. Boil milk, add semolina, sugar and salt. Stirring constantly, cook porridge. The porridge should not be too thick. Add oil, dissolve vanillin in a little water, and also add to the porridge, mix.
  2. Beat the egg well using a whisk. Then add the beaten egg to the porridge.
  3. Put half of the porridge in an even layer on the pan, grease the pan with oil. Sprinkle nuts (whole or crushed) on top. You can take any nuts. Next, there should be a layer of foams.
  4. Let's prepare the foams. Pour cream and milk into the pan, heat it up (foam should form), remove it, and reheat the remaining milk, remove the foam again, and so on.
  5. Porridge turns out to be tastier when you remove as many foams as possible. Cover a layer of semolina porridge with foams. Put the remaining porridge on top. Sprinkle with sugar and put in the oven for 20 minutes, low heat.
  6. Next, decorate the porridge with jam or fruit. Enjoy your meal!
