I would like to share with you a "grandmother's" dessert - "Hedgehogs" cookies. This dish has become our family tradition. We cooked "hedgehogs" with my mother, even when I was a child myself, I remember we had fairs at our school, where each class sold their culinary masterpieces. Even in my childhood, Hedgehogs went with a bang! Now my daughter is also happy to participate in the fabulous process of sculpting "Hedgehogs", so we can safely say that this grandmother's recipe will be passed on from generation to generation. I hope you enjoy it too.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For the dough: melt margarine over low heat and cool.
  2. Add flour and knead the dough.
  3. Add boiled yolks to the dough and mix thoroughly
  4. Add boiled yolks and stir.
  5. Divide the dough into portions and wrap nuts, candied fruits or raisins in it
  6. Roll up the balls, having previously put nuts, raisins or candied fruits inside as a filling.
  7. Bake the cookies in the oven until cooked through
  8. Bake the balls in the oven.
  9. For glaze: mix milk, sugar and cocoa and boil this mass until thickened.
  10. Dip cookies in prepared icing and roll in waffle crumbs
  11. Hot balls are dipped in glaze and rolled in waffles (pre-grated).
