It is difficult to imagine a festive New Year's table without herring under a fur coat. "Fur coat" proudly takes pride of place on the table and flaunts among all kinds of exotic dishes. It is prepared in different ways: someone prefers the classic version in a salad bowl, others serve the dish in a modern way - in rolls, bowls, on toast, etc.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. You must first prepare the products: boil hard-boiled chicken eggs, bake or boil beets. Free the herring fillet from the seeds.
  2. Cut the eggs in half, take out the yolk. Grate the beets on a fine grater, it is better to drain the released beet juice.
  3. Season the beets with mayonnaise in separate bowls, grind the chicken yolks with a fork and a few tablespoons of mayonnaise. Salt to taste.
  4. Fill the halves of the eggs with the seasoned yolks first.
  5. Then put the beet mass on top.
  6. Then put the pieces of herring.
  7. Decorate with herbs (I have parsley).
  8. And finish the whole composition with cranberries.
  9. The herring under a fur coat is ready for the festive table.
