Homemade biscuit "12 spoons", it is also called Italian pie "12 spoons", it is very simple to prepare, one might even say - elementary. We do not need scales, we will measure everything with tablespoons. We will knead with a hand mixer. Fillers can be: raisins, nuts, candied fruits, dried cranberries. For me, the most delicious addition is lemons. After completely cooling in the form, you can divide the biscuit across with a knife and smear with your favorite cream, jam or sour cream. I just sprinkle icing sugar on the sponge cake like home. I believe that if you know this elementary recipe, then no other biscuits are needed in principle. Cooking!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Break eggs into a container, add salt and 12 tablespoons of sugar. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until a thick white foam.
  2. Add 12 tablespoons of refined vegetable oil, 12 tablespoons of milk, the juice of half a lemon (2 tablespoons) and the zest of half a lemon. We mix.
  3. Be sure to sift the flour.
  4. Add 12 heaped tablespoons of flour and baking powder. We mix everything with a mixer.
  5. Grease a mold with high sides (I have a split mold with a diameter of 26 cm) grease with butter and cover with baking paper. Put the dough into a mold. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. We check the readiness with a "dry match".
  6. The biscuit is ready. Cool the biscuit completely in the mold.
  7. I just sprinkled it with powdered sugar.
  8. A piece of biscuit.
  9. Enjoy your tea!
