If the herring is too salty, soak it in milk. Or, instead of herring, you can cook a pie with any canned fish - saury, pink salmon or mackerel.

  1. For the filling, chop the eggs, chop the onion, mix with the fish, season with salt, pepper and set aside.
  2. Dough: sour cream, butter, salt, sugar, beat (with a mixer or whisk), add eggs. Continuing to beat, gradually add flour. Add baking powder at the end. The dough should be like thick sour cream in consistency.
  3. Pour half of the dough into a prepared dish, previously oiled and sprinkled with flour or breadcrumbs. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 C for 3 minutes.
  4. After 3 minutes, take out the form with the dough, put the filling on top and distribute the rest of the dough. Return to oven for 35-40 minutes.
