Filled with potatoes, canned fish and green onions, this colorful pie will be enjoyed by lovers of savory pastries. The basis of the dough is kefir and sour cream, but we will not add butter (neither butter nor sunflower). The pouring dough is kneaded once or twice and baked perfectly. The pie turns out to be soft, very tasty, satisfying, with the finest ruddy crust and fishy aroma.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. During the preparation process, you will need parchment paper.
  2. First of all, let's prepare the filling for the pie.
  3. Peel the potatoes, rinse the tubers and cut into small cubes.
  4. Transfer the potatoes to a saucepan, pour in cold water and place on the stove over high heat. When the water boils, reduce the heat on the stove and cook the potatoes until soft (10 minutes). You can add a little salt.
  5. Drain the boiled potatoes. Transfer the potato cubes to a bowl.
  6. Drain the oil from the canned fish. Mash the fish with a fork.
  7. Rinse green onions, dry and cut into thin rings.
  8. Add onions and fish to potatoes. Add black pepper and salt (if the potatoes were cooked in salted water, exclude the salt at this stage).
  9. Stir the ingredients. The filling for the jellied pie is ready.
  10. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  11. Now let's start with the test.
  12. Break eggs into a bowl and add salt.
  13. Whisk eggs and salt.
  14. Pour kefir and sour cream into the egg mixture.
  15. Stir until smooth.
  16. Sift flour mixed with baking powder into the liquid dough base.
  17. Whisk into a smooth, lump-free dough, similar in consistency to pancake dough.
  18. Cover the baking dish with parchment (both the bottom and sides). (I have a form measuring 20x20 cm.)
  19. Pour half of the dough into a mold and spread evenly.
  20. Put all the potato and fish filling in an even layer on the dough.
  21. Pour the remaining dough over the filling.
  22. If desired, sprinkle the surface of the cake with sesame seeds, cumin or cumin.
  23. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  24. Carefully remove the baked cake from the mold.
  25. Jellied pie with potatoes, canned fish and green onions is ready.
  26. This cake can be served hot, warm or cooled.
  27. Bon Appetit!
