And for a romantic dinner, and for a festive table! Amazingly tasty and juicy pink salmon fried in a pan quickly and easily! You don't need many ingredients to make steaks. Salt, a mixture of peppers, lemon and fish, that's probably all to get a mind-blowing result!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the fish first. If you have a whole carcass, then first clean it of scales, remove the entrails and gills (perhaps you will cook a delicious broth or soup from your head in the future, and therefore it is better not to leave the gills, as they give bitterness). Cut the fish into steaks about 2x-3cm thick. If you have purchased frozen pieces, take them out of the freezer in advance and thaw them.
  2. Dry the pink salmon steaks well on all sides with paper towels to get rid of excess moisture. Season each piece with salt on both sides and pepper with allspice and red pepper. Sprinkle a pinch of dry rosemary over the fish; it goes well with redfish. Leave the pink salmon to marinate for 10-15 minutes in this way.
  3. Pour refined vegetable oil into a skillet with a thick bottom and high edges. Heat it well. Add a couple of chives and a sprig of fresh rosemary to the oil if desired. Dip the pink salmon steaks in the oil, reduce the stove to medium. Fry the fish with the lid open until half cooked for 3-5 minutes (I cooked for about 3 minutes). When the garlic and rosemary acquire a golden hue, remove them from the pan, they have already fulfilled their function.
  4. Flip the steaks over and fry until tender (another 3-5 minutes).
  5. Place cooked steaks on a plate and drizzle with squeezed lemon juice. Serve with fresh vegetables and salad.
