This dish is traditional for Germany. It matches perfectly with the good Riesling, a white grape cultivated in Germany. Served with sauerkraut as a side dish.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet and fry the onion until golden brown, then add mustard and parsley to it.
  2. Mince meat, onions and parsley. Add egg yolks, bread crumbs, marjoram, capers, anchovies, butter, mustard, salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Mix all the ingredients and roll the resulting mixture into balls. Cook them until tender in salted water and bay leaves.
  4. To make the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and make the béchamel sauce using broth, white wine, and cream. When the béchamel sauce is ready, add the capers and Worcestershire sauce to it.
