A properly fried lamb steak is, in our opinion, an absolutely ideal dish for a family dinner. To keep the meat juicy, give it a little "rest" after frying and only then cut.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For the sauce, finely chop the onion. Fry in olive oil and butter with thyme and rosemary leaves. Add the rest of the ingredients besides the lime juice, boil for 5 minutes, remove the juniper and cinnamon. Whisk the sauce with a blender, add lime juice, strain.
  2. Rub the steaks with salt and pepper. Slice the onion into thick circles.
  3. Place crushed garlic cloves and rosemary in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet, add oil and heat over medium heat. When the garlic starts to brown, add the meat and onions. Fry until the desired degree of doneness is desired. Serve with the sauce.
