We are preparing an appetizing appetizer - lavash roll with mashed potatoes and smoked fish! See the recipe and cook for health!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Of course, in this recipe, smoked mackerel can be replaced with any other fish, from red to herring fillets. The idea itself is good!
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water. We drain the water. While the potatoes are hot, we cook mashed potatoes.
  3. Add butter and finely chopped dill to the potatoes. Knead the potatoes with a crush. We try and add salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Let the mashed potatoes cool.
  5. Once the mashed potatoes have cooled down, you can continue. On half of the pita bread (I have large sheets), spread the cream cheese and evenly distribute it in a thin layer. Then fold the pita bread in half.
  6. (If you have small sheets of pita bread, then we completely grease one sheet and cover with the second.)
  7. Now apply mashed potatoes with an even layer on pita bread, leaving a free edge, which we coat with cream cheese.
  8. We disassemble the smoked mackerel into pieces and select the bones well. We distribute the fish over the pita bread with mashed potatoes.
  9. Sprinkle with finely chopped onions.
  10. We roll the pita bread with the filling into a tight roll. The edge of the lavash sticks well due to the cream cheese.
  11. All products are enough for two identical rolls.
  12. We let the finished pita rolls lie (soak) in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, or better - a couple of hours. Such pita rolls with mashed potatoes and smoked fish are perfectly cut, look appetizing (does not fall apart), and most importantly, it is very tasty!
