If you want to save time and effort on sculpting dumplings, then this dish is perfect for you. We prepare the dough from mashed potatoes, flour and eggs, form small cakes from the dough, roll them in semolina and boil. Frying champignons with onions will perfectly complement potato lazy dumplings.

  1. Wash the peeled potatoes thoroughly, place them in a saucepan. Fill it with hot water, add salt. Cook potatoes for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
  2. While the potatoes are boiling, we are preparing the frying.
  3. Peel the onion, wash and cut into small cubes.
  4. We clean the mushrooms, update the slices on the legs. Cut the mushrooms into small cubes.
  5. On preheated 2 tbsp. fry the onion for 3-5 minutes until transparent in tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  6. Add mushrooms to onions and fry for 7-10 minutes. Salt, pepper and add ground coriander.
  7. Peel the finished, slightly cooled potatoes, cut into pieces and knead in mashed potatoes.
  8. Add the egg to the finished puree, salt, pepper and mix everything until smooth.
  9. Sift flour and knead soft and non-sticky dough from puree and flour.
  10. From the finished dough we roll the rollers, cut into equal pieces and form small dumplings. If necessary, you can add more flour to work with the dough.
  11. Roll the potato cakes in semolina on all sides.
  12. In a large amount of boiling salted water, boil lazy potato dumplings for 1-2 minutes after they emerge.
  13. We take out the finished lazy dumplings with a slotted spoon and put them in a pan with mushrooms and onions. We mix.
  14. We serve the dish hot. If potato lazy dumplings with mushrooms and onions are cold, you can fry them in a pan.
