Liver pate with rice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil rice in salted water (1 part rice and 2 parts water).
  2. Spread 2 diced onions with 2 coarse grated carrots until soft.
  3. Prepared liver (stripped of films and bile ducts using pork liver
  4. can be pre-soaked in milk) grind together with vegetables (item 2) using a blender.
  5. Add 2 eggs, 2 cloves of garlic, season with salt and pepper and beat again with a blender.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of pre-cooked rice into the mixture.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake at 190 degrees until tender (about 30 minutes). When a crust forms, pierce in several places with a knife or fork.
