A fluffy protein omelet is a simple, unpretentious dish that goes well with breakfast. The protein steam omelet is prepared quite quickly and turns out to be lush and very tasty. If you are following a protein diet or eating a healthy diet, then be sure to keep this recipe.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash eggs before use with warm water and soap and pat dry with a napkin. Check them for freshness. Fill a glass with cold water and dip the egg there. If it sinks to the bottom, then the eggs are fresh and perfect for making an omelet.
  2. Milk is suitable for any fat content.
  3. I used butter to lubricate the mold, although vegetable oil will work as well.
  4. Break the eggs and carefully separate them into whites and yolks. We don't need yolks - use them for cooking other dishes. Pour the egg whites into a comfortable deep bowl.
  5. Add salt to the proteins to taste. Shake with a whisk just a little. It is not necessary for the foam to form.
  6. Pour in milk. Stir with a fork until smooth.
  7. To prepare a steam omelet, a multicooker with a steamer function, a double boiler, or you can take a saucepan with a lid. In my kitchen I have a multi-cooker pressure cooker with a "Steam" function, which I often use. Pour about 300-400 ml of water into a bowl, you can boil water. Install the steam grate. Do the same if using a saucepan. Grease a deep heat-resistant mold with oil. Pour the omelet mass into it and place on the steam rack. Cover with a lid. I have a pressure steamer, so I close the steam valve. Start the "Steam cooking" program. I set the time to 15 minutes. This time in my case will be enough. In a saucepan covered with a lid, it will take 20-25 minutes.
  8. A fluffy omelet of proteins in a double boiler is ready.
  9. Serve the protein steamed omelet, garnish with fresh herbs.
  10. Bon Appetit!
