Mashed potatoes for garnish

Mashed potatoes always help me out, a great side dish. And for meat and fish.

Ingredients

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes and onions and cut into cubes.
  2. Pour cold water over vegetables. The water in the pot should be 4 cm higher than the potatoes.
  3. Add salt and bay leaves. Cook over medium heat until tender for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Drain the potato broth into a cup. It will be useful to us. Cooked potatoes should be quickly, until they cool, knead with a wooden or metal crush.
  5. Add butter and our potato broth to the potatoes (amount to taste), beat the mashed potatoes thoroughly until smooth. Serve the mashed potatoes hot.
