Mashed potatoes with apples and curry

We bring to your attention a recipe for making a side dish of potatoes. A very tasty and interesting side dish, but it will not be ordinary mashed potatoes, but a delicate mashed potatoes with apples and aromatic spices.

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them. Cut the potatoes into 6-8 pieces, put them in a saucepan and fill them with boiling water.
  2. Peel the apples, cut into 4-6 pieces, cut out the core.
  3. When the potatoes boil, salt the water and add the apples. Cook potatoes with apples for 20-25 minutes, until the potatoes are soft. Then we drain the water.
  4. Pour the cream into a saucepan and put on moderate heat. Heat the cream until warm, add allspice and black pepper to taste, as well as curry.
  5. We crush potatoes, constantly adding hot cream with spices. Shake until the puree is absolutely tender.
  6. Apples and curry mashed potatoes are ready. Serve hot.
