Meatballs with Oatmeal and Stewed Vegetables

  1. Grind beef and onion in a meat grinder. Chop the garlic in a garlic press. Mix oatmeal with water and egg. Add spices, chopped garlic, onions, cottage cheese and minced meat. To mix everything.
  2. Form small meatballs.
  3. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put the meatballs on it, sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional) and bake them for 20 minutes at 200 C. And while the meatballs are being prepared, stew the vegetables.
  4. In vegetable oil, fry the onion, chopped in half rings and finely chopped garlic until golden brown, add the eggplants, chopped into slices (so that the bitterness leaves the eggplants in salted water in advance), cut the bell pepper into slices. Coarsely chop the tomatoes and add to the vegetables. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then add vegetables to the meatballs, garnish with herbs and serve. Enjoy your meal!
