An original and delicious salad for the New Year. Puff salad with chicken and vegetables is a hearty holiday dish. The combination of chicken, potatoes and carrots is complemented by the delicate nutty flavor of avocado.

  1. Wash the chicken fillet, put in water, bring to a boil, cook for about 30 minutes. If time permits, cool the finished chicken fillet directly in the broth.
  2. Hard boil the eggs (8-10 minutes), drain the water. Pour eggs over with cold water and cool.
  3. Wash the carrots well, put in a saucepan, cover with water and cook over low heat for about 25-30 minutes, until soft.
  4. In addition to boiled carrots, you will also need a small piece of raw carrots to decorate the salad.
  5. Wash the potatoes well, put them in a saucepan, add water. Cook potatoes on low heat for about 30 minutes, until tender.
  6. Cool boiled vegetables.
  7. Cut the cooled chicken fillet into small pieces.
  8. Peel the avocado, remove the pit. Cut the avocado into small cubes.
  9. Peel the eggs. Set aside one egg to garnish the salad. Divide the rest of the eggs into proteins and
  10. Also grate the yolks.
  11. Peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater.
  12. Peel the potatoes and also coarsely grate.
  13. Place the forming ring on the plate. I have a plastic ring with a diameter of 21 cm, which I wrapped in foil. You can take a ring from a split baking dish.
  14. Put the chicken fillet in the first layer in the ring, add a little salt.
  15. Brush the fillet with mayonnaise.
  16. Then lay out the avocado and brush with mayonnaise again.
  17. The next layer is egg whites. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  18. Lay out a layer of carrots. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  19. Put the potatoes in the next layer, add a little salt and grease with mayonnaise.
  20. Sprinkle the yolks on the salad.
  21. Carefully remove the forming ring.
  22. To decorate the salad (for one bull's face), cut out three ovals from the egg, one of which will have a hole in the center.
  23. I made two faces.
  24. Lay out the pieces of eggs as in the photo, forming the muzzles of the bulls.
  25. Put the feathers of green onions in the "mouth" of the gobies, imitating grass.
  26. Make "eyes" and "nostrils" from carnation buds.
  27. Cut "horns" and "ears" from carrot pieces.
  28. Festive salad decoration is ready!
