Oatmeal for breakfast is a classic of the genre. Replace apples and pears with apricots and peaches in season.

  1. Put the porridge to boil in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core, leave the skin. Cut the apples into small, neat pieces.
  3. Pour sugar into the pan, pour 4 tbsp. l. water, bring to a boil. Add oil. Once the butter has melted, stir in, add the apples and stir again. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat, add cinnamon, stir, cook for 2-3 minutes more.
  5. Arrange porridge in deep plates, put apples in the center of each, pour syrup from a frying pan. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
