Oriental coffee is a separate story, which has nothing to do with the hasty brewing of this drink in express cafes, which we periodically visit in order to cheer up in the morning. Residents of Turkey and Yemen, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are sure that this drink should certainly be prepared in a good mood, slowly, enjoying the process itself. Then the result will be impressive. Interestingly, many connoisseurs do not accept large cezves (Turks), believing that the correct oriental coffee should be brewed for only one cup. It is up to you to listen to this rule or not, but there are rules that you will definitely have to follow. Which ones? Read our recipe and everything will become clear!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour coffee beans into the grinder. Smash them literally "into dust". Open the appliance periodically and check the degree of grind. Bring to the required condition.
  2. Pour the prepared coffee into the Turk. Add sugar. Fill with cold drinking water and place on the stove. Turn on low heat. Stir after 2 minutes.
  3. Continue brewing the coffee until light brown foam begins to rise to the surface. Remove the Turk from the heat for 1 minute. Then return to low heat.
  4. Bring to a boil again and remove for a minute. Put on fire for the third time. After the coffee has boiled, remove the turkey from the heat and pour the drink into warmed cups.
