All ingenious is simple. Cooking potatoes baked in the oven with lard for garnish. Simple and delicious. You can bake both new potatoes and old ones. Choose tubers of approximately the same size and not small.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven. Wash the potatoes together with the peel.
  2. Cut each potato lengthwise into two halves, put on a baking sheet, cut up.
  3. Cut the bacon into thin slices (do not peel off the salt).
  4. Put a piece of bacon on each half of the potatoes.
  5. Pin the bacon to the potatoes with a toothpick (when baking, the bacon can "run away"). Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven on the middle shelf. Bake at 200 degrees until tender (young potatoes - about 30 minutes, old ones - about 50 minutes).
  6. You can check the readiness of the potatoes with a toothpick. If a toothpick enters the potatoes, as in butter, then the potatoes baked in the oven with lard are ready.
  7. Bon Appetit!
