If you know the right proportions, panna cotta cooks in just a few minutes and freezes in half an hour, it's very convenient! You can serve it with berry sauce, and with chocolate, but I like this kind of caramel sauce - they are good to decorate eclairs, and a cake, or serve it with pancakes. And such caramel sauce can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for about a month - before serving, I just warm it up in a water bath.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Prepare panna cotta: pour cream and milk into a small saucepan, add powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, mix everything and bring to a boil, then remove from heat, add gelatin and knead until it is completely dissolved.
  2. 2. Pour the mass into transparent glasses and send it to harden in the refrigerator.
  3. 3. Prepare the sauce: heat cream with vanilla extract over low heat.
  4. 4. Pour sugar into a dry frying pan, and, shaking it occasionally, cook caramel, then pour in hot cream, remove from heat and mix until smooth.
  5. 5. Add the butter to the sauce, salt everything, and mix, then return the pan to the heat and heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  6. 6. Decorate the frozen panna cotta with sauce.
