A quick and easy Italian-style pasta recipe - pasta seasoned with green peas in a sauce of tomato paste, cream cheese, garlic and spices. Thanks to the peas, the dish acquires a fresh taste, the sauce gives richness and a pleasant creamy taste with a light tomato note.

  1. We prepare the necessary ingredients.
  2. Green peas can not be thawed first.
  3. Boil pasta in a large amount of salted water (1 teaspoon) for 8-12 minutes (or according to the instructions on the package).
  4. While the pasta is cooking, cut the onion into small cubes.
  5. Mince the garlic.
  6. In a frying pan, heat the vegetable and butter, spread the onion and garlic and fry for 3-4 minutes over low heat.
  7. Add peas and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Combine tomato paste and 140 ml of water, mix until smooth.
  9. Pour the tomato mixture into the skillet. Simmer contents for 5 minutes.
  10. We send cream cheese to green peas in sauce. Cook, stirring, until cheese is completely melted.
  11. Add basil, hot and black pepper, salt (a pinch). Cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  12. Transfer the pasta to the pan, stir and heat the contents for a few minutes to mix the flavors.
  13. Pasta with green peas in tomato-cheese sauce is ready.
  14. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  15. Serve pasta sprinkled with cheese on top.
