Prepare a delicious shortbread pie with apples and strawberries, decorate with whole berries and treats are ready for the festive table.

Ingredients

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 95 degrees. Line a 20 cm round springform pan with parchment paper or grease with oil.
  2. Place chopped apples in a small bowl, add lemon zest and juice, mix well.
  3. In a large bowl mix all the flour and baking powder. Add chopped butter and mix with your hands until a homogeneous crumbly mass (you can do this in a food processor). Introduce white sugar, chopped strawberries and apples.
  4. Lightly beat the egg with milk and add this mass to a crumbly mixture, mix well and pour into the prepared detachable form, sprinkle with brown sugar.
  5. Put the mold in the preheated oven and bake the cake for 35-40 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool for 1 hour. Release the cake from the mold.
  6. In a small saucepan, mix strawberry jam with 1 tablespoon of water, bring to a boil over low heat, and then remove the saucepan from the stove, let the jam cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Put whole strawberries on the cooled cake, and pour strawberry jam on top.
