Pies with mushrooms and rice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil dried mushrooms and chop finely. Boil a third of a glass of rice.
  2. Finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown in vegetable oil. Throw the mushrooms into the same pan and fry for several minutes along with the onions. Mix with rice, salt and pepper to taste. The filling is ready.
  3. Sift flour and put frozen butter in it. Use a knife to chop the butter into cubes and grind them with flour into dust with your hands.
  4. Pour in half a glass of cold water, a tablespoon of vodka and add a teaspoon of salt. Knead the dough, roll into a bun, cover with a towel and put in the freezer for about fifteen minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough thinly with a rolling pin and cut out circles with a large champagne glass. Put a teaspoon of the filling on each circle. Pinch the patties and brush them with egg yolk to add strength.
  6. Cover a baking sheet with parchment, spread the pies on it. Put a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about twenty minutes, until the pies are browned.
