Pizza "Margarita"

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. Dissolve 1 tsp in warm water. sugar and dry yeast. Stir well and let sit for 10 minutes. The yeast should rise with a cap.
  2. Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Make a depression in the center of the slide and pour in the yeast. Knead the dough first with a fork, then with your hands.
  3. When the dough is collected in a lump, transfer it to a floured table and pour in 1 tbsp. olive oil.
  4. Continue kneading the dough until elastic. If the dough sticks to your hands, add a little more flour. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 40-50 minutes. The pizza dough is ready. From this amount of dough, two thin pizzas with a diameter of about 25-30 cm are obtained, or one large.
  5. Prepare the sauce:
  6. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and bell pepper with a knife, salt, add a pinch of Italian herbs, a little basil, grated tomatoes and stew in olive oil until the excess juice is boiled down.
  7. Brush a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil to make the bottom of the pizza crisper.
  8. Roll out the dough into a thin tortilla and place the prepared aromatic tomato sauce on top of it.
  9. Arrange the mozzarella slices on top. Bake pizza "Margarita" in the oven at 200-250 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
  10. Next, sprinkle fresh basil leaves on the finished pizza. Serve immediately!
