Polish Apple Biscuit

A very tender and juicy cake. An excellent treat for children and adults.

  1. Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Grease a 20-25 cm pan. Core the apples and cut them into thin slices. Do not peel apples.
  2. Place apples in a bowl, add cinnamon and 5 tbsp. l. Sahara.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, remaining sugar, vegetable oil, milk (orange juice) and vanilla essence. Sift flour and salt. Add them to the dough.
  4. Pour 1/3 of the dough into the prepared pan and place a third of the apples on top. Pour another 1/3 with the dough and add 1/3 of the apples, then the remaining dough and the remaining apples on top. Bake for 1 hour or until the biscuit is golden brown.
  5. Cool the sponge cake in the mold so that all the juices are absorbed into it. Cut into squares and serve warm.
