I propose an excellent idea of making a non-trivial casserole from potatoes, minced meat and cheese. Combine grated potatoes, minced meat, onions and eggs, add garlic and dried rosemary for flavor, and bake. But then, unlike classic recipes, we cut the finished casserole into pieces, add sour cream and cheese, combine in pairs - and for a few more minutes in the oven. The technology is simple, and the dish turns out to be very tasty.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Any minced meat will do, I use pork. Instead of a purple onion, you can take a yellow onion.
  3. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  4. Peel the potatoes, grate on a coarse grater and place in a deep bowl.
  5. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and add to the potatoes.
  6. Put minced meat with vegetables. Stir (it is more convenient to do it with your hands).
  7. Beat eggs to the potato and meat mass. Stir.
  8. Add salt, pepper and dried rosemary.
  9. Peel the garlic, grate on a fine grater and add to the potato and meat mass.
  10. Stir well again.
  11. Cover the baking sheet (I have a size of 44.5x36.5 cm) with parchment paper. Lubricate the parchment with vegetable oil. Put the prepared mass there. Smooth it with a spatula into a rectangular layer no more than 1.5 cm high. (I also put some foil under the parchment - in my oven, the top does not blush well, but the bottom often burns.)
  12. Send a baking sheet with potatoes and minced meat to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes (baking time depends on the power of your oven). Remove the finished potato base from the oven.
  13. Cut the layer into 12 pieces, right on the parchment (I do this with a pizza knife). Brush 6 pieces with a little sour cream on top.
  14. Cut 6 thin slices of cheese (I cut the cheese with a wide peeler). Grate the remaining cheese a little later.
  15. Put a slice of hard cheese on top of a piece of casserole greased with sour cream.
  16. Cover each slice of the cheese and sour cream casserole with the rest of the casserole (no sour cream).
  17. Brush with sour cream on top.
  18. Grate the remaining cheese on a medium grater and sprinkle evenly over 6 of the resulting blanks. Return the baking sheet to the oven again. Cook for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees until the cheese melts.
  19. Potato casserole with minced meat and cheese is ready.
  20. Serve immediately to the table, complementing an optional salad of fresh or pickled vegetables.
  21. Such an interesting potato casserole with minced meat and cheese will delight everyone at home.
  22. Bon Appetit!
