My family is very fond of dumplings, but sometimes there is not enough time to fiddle with the dough. It is then that the recipe comes to the rescue, which I hasten to share. Prepare the dough from mashed potatoes, put it in a pastry bag and squeeze small "sausages" into boiling water. Mix ready-made lazy potato dumplings with fried mushrooms and onions and simmer for a couple of minutes. It is as easy as shelling pears to prepare such dumplings, and the taste is not inferior to the classic ones.

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into medium pieces. Transfer the potatoes to a saucepan, cover with water (it should completely cover the potatoes) and put on high heat. Bring to a boil, add salt, simmer the potatoes for 20-25 minutes, until soft (depending on the type and size of the potato slices). Then drain the water.
  2. While the potatoes are boiling, peel the onions and cut them into thin quarters.
  3. Wipe the mushrooms with a damp kitchen towel, cut into plates. It is not necessary to grind with slicing - the larger, the tastier.
  4. Transfer the finished potatoes to a bowl and mash them in mashed potatoes with a crush.
  5. Add a little butter, egg, salt, ground pepper and dried garlic to the mashed potatoes to taste.
  6. Add flour to mashed potatoes.
  7. Stir all ingredients with a spoon. The dough turns out to be sticky, but that's okay - we won't touch it with our hands.
  8. Prepare a pastry bag or regular bag, cut off the tip. Fill a bag / bag with potato dough.
  9. Shake lightly so that the dough is firmly in place.
  10. Put a pot of water on the fire, bring water to a boil. Squeeze a little dough from a pastry bag / bag into boiling water, cutting off pieces of the desired size with a knife or cutting with scissors. Such mini-blanks are obtained. It is not necessary to send all the blanks to the pan at once, it is better to cook in small batches.
  11. As soon as the dumplings float to the surface, immediately get them with a slotted spoon.
  12. Put all the dumplings on a plate.
  13. Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil in parallel. Put mushrooms and onions in a pan and fry, stirring occasionally, for 7-8 minutes.
  14. Add ready-made lazy dumplings to the pan to the onions and mushrooms.
  15. Mix everything gently and warm up for a few minutes. Potato lazy dumplings with fried mushrooms and onions are ready to serve.
  16. When serving, you can add sour cream, ketchup or other sauce.
  17. Enjoy your meal!
