Another interesting variation on the baked potato theme. According to this recipe, it is baked in egg white with paprika and a mixture of ground peppers. The potato turns out to be bright, aromatic, with an original taste. In this case, a minimum amount of oil is required - only for greasing the baking sheet. It doesn't take a lot of your efforts to prepare this delicious dish.

  1. We prepare the ingredients. It is better to use oblong potatoes for cooking.
  2. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into thin oblong slices.
  3. We dry the potatoes on a waffle (or paper) towel so that a minimum of moisture remains.
  4. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. We do not need the yolks, we use them to prepare another dish.
  5. Beat the whites into a strong foam using a mixer (2 minutes).
  6. Add salt, paprika and pepper mixture.
  7. Beat again until smooth, a few seconds.
  8. We immerse the potatoes in portions in proteins, so that each block is covered with a protein mass.
  9. We spread it on a baking sheet with parchment greased with vegetable oil.
  10. We bake the potatoes in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  11. Then carefully remove the parchment paper and bake the potatoes for another 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  12. The potatoes baked in egg whites are ready. Serve immediately, until the potatoes remain crispy, adding your favorite sauce if desired.
